In the Blink of an Eye back by Ficklestix In the Blink of an Eye back by Ficklestix
The back cover to "In the Blink of an Eye," a love story starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall that is based on The Time Traveler's Wife. This was a commission from wicked616, who came up with the storyline, though I wrote the synopsis.

Here is the front cover to the movie: [link]

Here is a trailer that wicked616 made for the movie: [link]

Also check out my classics video! [link]

It a shame this movie isn't real. I would love to see it. ;-) Nice references (Steve, Perske, ...) btw!

Well, if you've ever read Jules Verne 'Around the world in Eighty days' The hero of that is named 'Phileas Fogg' LOL. They make a reference on the show that Phineas Bogg saved young Verne's life from a brawl in France, and he later used a similar name in his book. LOL.

It was a very cute show, what killed it was the 1983 World Series which went into overtime for 13 weeks!! And then boring 60 minutes somehow took all the viewers at that time. But maybe your parents do remember the series. I first saw it as a young teen in 1993-94 when they re-runned it on the Sci-Fi channel on cable.

Oh, I think that's it. I'm probably thinking of Phileas Fogg from Around the World in Eighty Days. I haven't read the book but I've seen that movie with Jackie Chan and Steve Coogan LOL. And that's a crappy way for a TV show to meet its end. Still though, if it was around in the 80s I'm sure my parents would be familiar with it.

I will thank them! Voyagers is a 1982-1983 Time Travel series that starred Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce. It was actually a predecessor to Quantum Leap, airing on NBC. My website is all about it, I've written sooo much on it. LOL. You can read the premise here-

But to put it simply, Voyagers are time travelers that 'correct' history and keep it on its natural course. Voyager Phineas Bogg gets stuck with a modern day (1982) NY Orphan after he saves his life (Thank goodness he's a history whiz! Cuz Phineas is a bit of a dolt) and they bond and travel through time having all these adventures. It's also kind of like the old series Time Tunnel.

Sounds like an interesting show. It's funny because I've never heard of this show but I totally recognize the name Phineas Bogg. My parents have probably mentioned him once or twice and that's why it sounds familiar.

This actually gives me ideas to make 'DVD' covers for my Voyagers fanfics. I love to make fan-videos too, so I have done that a few times for some of my stories.

That's awesome. What is Voyagers? And I've made some videos too, but for some reason I've never got around to uploading them onto deviantART. I'm nearly finished with a video tribute to classic Hollywood which I will surely upload here.

I've never made an actual DVD cover like this. I have some tutorials, but I would have to practice. Did you use a tutorial?

I'd like to make a blog post about this 'movie' soon if I may. :D

No I don't use tutorials for my DVD covers. And that would be great if you would do a blog post!
